Pregnant women who are harassed to end life

Rajkot: A four-month pregnant woman ended his life in Bhichri Village in Rajkot Taluka on Sunday which was allegedly because of harassment issued by her husband.
Jivu Solanki’s husband, 30 years old Vasant was detained on Monday after his brother filed a complaint at the Kuwadava Street Police Station.
The police said that Solanki consumed acid on Sunday morning and was taken to a civil hospital Rajkot and then referred to a private hospital where he died at night.
Vasant told the police that he had an argument with his wife for financial problems after that he consumed acids.
However, on Monday, however, the brother of the late Bharat Shiyal approached the police who harassed and beat him.
In his complaint, Shiyal also stated that Vasant used to defeat the victims suspicious of his extra marriage.
On Sunday morning too, Vasant called Shiyal ask him to take Soarki with him.
Vasant also said that he wanted to divorce him, the complaint was stated.
Based on Shiyal complaints, silver violations of suicide and registered cruelty.
“The defendant and the deceased had a three-year-old son and he was pregnant with the twins,” said a police officer.
He added that the couple had moved to Rajkot to work as a farm laborer from Mendarda Taluka from Junagadh about five months ago.
