WARANGAL: Local residents help a pregnant woman who cannot cross the flow that overflows on Friday to reach the government hospital by taking it on stretchers and across the river.
Because of heavy rain, road connectivity between Narsampet and Nekkonda Mandal was disrupted because flood water flowed to the road on the bridge level.
Pregnant women were identified as Saraswathi, a resident of Mudigonda Village in Nekkonda Mandal from the countryside district of Warangal.
The villagers said that Saraswathi experienced labor pain with fourth labor on Friday morning.
Family members traveled in the autorickshaw from Mudigonda Village to a government hospital and reached the bridge level in Magdhumpuram Village, but could not cross the river on the road.
Local residents observed a pregnant woman in the autorickshaw on the roadside and they were immediately decided to tell the ambulance 108.
The locals came to help the pregnant woman and bring the woman on a stretcher, across the flow that overflowed and shifted it to a government hospital, Narsampet for delivery ,
