Brighton: Brighton and Hove Albion moved together over the Premier League as the first half goal by Shane Duffy and Neal Maupay got them a 2-0 home victory which was comfortable against Watford on Saturday.
Duffy defender was hit with a bullet header from the corner after 10 minutes to give a perfect initial host.
Watford then talented their second Brighton a few minutes before the interval when they lost the ball trying to play out of behind and Maupay wrinkled home.
The visitors did improve after the break and had a goal by Emmanuel Dennis overriding offside, but Brighton comfortably was a better side when they moved to six points.
This was the first time Brighton had started the top flight season with a back-to-back victory, and the only disability was an injury to Maupay who did not return for the second half after showing his shoulders.
