Preparation 2.0: New Higher Education Paradigm

The world we live is evolving with furious speed.
There is an old saying, ‘If I only had an hour to chop down a tree, I would spend the first 45 minutes sharpening my ax.’ The mind is still valid and assume more relevance in the midst of a pause caused by the pandemic.
2.0 Preparation is a must for what lies ahead.
With fierce competition in most fields, globalization and communication have changed the way education is offered and obtained.
In many ways, the new world currency is the knowledge, skills, positive attitude and healthy habits.
Those who have this currency will continue to grow, while the no-no fighting for relevancy.
More recently, one of my students looking for guidance on how best to utilize the time when he was waiting to return to the foreign university campus.
Like most others, he will try to return to campus after nearly 18 months.
Virtual learning is ‘alright’ she feels but was having some gaps not only in academia but also social-emotional development.
Safe! You have successfully cast votelogin you to see the period it should be best used to prepare and brace for greater challenges and initial disturbance.
Preparation helps us manage ourselves better and relieve anxiety, fear, and uncertainty.
They are very important not only to investigate and seek admission to university dream but sailed through a rigorous process of successfully completing the course.
Now, that acceptance is done, it is very important for students to think about the preparation 2.0.
So, what is required of preparation 2.0?

1.
Setting Goals: Begin by asking yourself ‘why’ and ‘what’ question – why I do what I do? What really want to achieve from this phase of my life? For what I want to use this time?

Answering the question ‘Why’ this can lead to answers in which people can understand whether they enjoy creative activities more or analytical work.
Next comes the selection of courses, projects, and co-curricular help find answers to these in turn help make decisions in the medium to long term about careers and life paths chosen.
2.
Reflection: Try to understand ourselves better.
Identification of your strengths and find opportunities that build it.
Work on your weaknesses to a certain extent they do not become a deterrent ambitions.
3.
Building Skills: Learn a new language, especially if you go to a non-English speaking country.
Master the art of communication.
Read many cultures, traditions and art of India.
Learn about another culture or take a new musical instrument.
Learn to manage your finances wisely.
All this will bring the elements of a comprehensive personality.
4.
Increase Rigor: Marks the material is relatively lower in the study were higher than in school.
Thorough knowledge of the chosen subject and exposure to a variety of other subjects is an ideal combination.
Wake up your ability to read and consume information from a variety of sources.
5.
Develop connections: Communicate and connect with professors and friends of your batch.
It strengthens the bond and will make you happy and focused.
Try and give back by volunteering or through community service – it will give you immense satisfaction and will add more meaning to your life.
As the first students traveling abroad, you may lose a lot of luxuries that you feel entitled to all of this time in the comfort of your own home, a sense of accomplishment and independence will make it all worthwhile – all the best.
