Mumbai: To minimize the impact of the third wave in the economic cycle and industrial production, the chairman of the Minister of UDDHAV Thackeray at a meeting with the industry’s top industrialists has directed them to take steps such as field vaccination for workers, and even establish units of tasks to help the industry.
Thackeray held a virtual meeting with CII (Indian Industrial Confederation) and said that the plan must be made to ensure that the minimum third wave impact and production were not stopped.
“Maharashtra must give an example to the nations that the industry can continue to operate even if strict restrictions must be realized,” Thackeray said.
Thackeray suggested that the Industrial Task Force in Covid-19 management will be regulated and this body will be related to the state government in various steps that must be taken in the case of third wave strikes.
The state government has asked the industry to see surprising office timings and even make work from home productively with technology intervention.
He said that small and medium industries can create bio-bubbles and also the temporary field of living must be set for staff near the workplace to ensure minimal movement in cases of strict restrictions have been enforced in the future.
A discussion was also held on an increase in oxygen production and even made oxygen storage and transportation capacity.
Countries currently produce 1300 metric tons of oxygen and requirements in the second wave have touched 1900MT and the possibility that in the third wave requirements will be much higher and become production, storage capacity, and even transportation facilities must be improved.
