New Delhi: IAF may be wrestling with thinning of the fighters but “well prepared” to overcome the challenges in East Ladakh or elsewhere from China and are able to deal with two-front contingencies if they appear, Head of Marshal Air VR Chaudhari said on Tuesday.
China has gone to a large upgrade of water faced by India, with hardened shelters and other infrastructure to increase the spread of fighters and bombings, but the power of the air is “big penalty” in operating from high altitude regions, he said.
“We are fully ready to face any situation and challenges in this region,” he said.
