‘Prepared well & organized to reduce the 3rd covid wave’

Ranchi: The Ministry of Health of the Health, Medical and Welfare of the Family has estimated that 24 Jharkhand districts will require a total of 502 pediatric ICU beds to attend children who, according to experts, are likely to be infected with very third if there are third.

Most ICU beds may be needed in districts such as Ranchi (45), Dhanbad (41), East Singhbhum (35), Giridih (37), Bokaro (32) and Palamu (30), the state estimation department.
While departmental officials rush to regulate oxygen, rempassivir and other equipment after the second wave, careful planning has been entered to manage the third wave, the official claims.
As many as 50 children’s invasive ventilators, 50 bubble CPAP machines with compressors, 50 high-flow nose cannulas, 752 oxygen flowmeters, 100 oxygen hoods and Nebuliters have been sent to the district to increase their trigger unit, the department claims.
“We are organized and ready to reduce the third wave of Covid-19.
In addition to equipment, each district has been equipped with enough drug stock to treat small patients Covid-19,” Bhuvanesh Pratap Singh, said Nodal state officers for Covid-19 management, said.
