Washington: US President Joe Biden has grateful to Kamala Harris for his work as vice president, said he could not ask for a friend and friend better than him.
Biden, a Democrat, given that he had chosen Harris as a married run on August 11 one year ago.

Biden assigned Harris to control the surge in the southern border of the country in June.
As part of his efforts, he traveled to Guatemala and Mexico and met the highest leadership of the two countries.
During his trip, be a migrant not to try to enter the US illegally.
Harris is also expected to travel to Vietnam and Singapore this month, in the midst of increasing tensions between the US and China.
At the time of his nomination, it was the third woman who was chosen as a vice presidential candidate on a large party ticket.
Then-Alaska Governor Sarah Palin in 2008 and the New York House of Representatives of Geraldine Ferraro in 1984 were the other two.
However, Harris, 56, was the only candidate to win the election.
So, he was the fir, ST woman, the first black Americans, and the first South Asian Americans were chosen as Vice President of the US.
Harris was born of two immigrant parents: a black father and mother of India.
His father, Donald Harris, came from Jamaican, and his mother, Shyamala Gopalan, a cancer researcher and civil rights activist from Chennai.
