President Kovind to witness the victory celebration in Bangladesh today

Dhaka: President of RAM Nath Kovind will witness the celebration of the 50th victory day of Bangladesh in Dhaka on Thursday as a guest of honor.
“The President on Thursday will watch the victory day parade and attend a victory day receipt organized by President Bangladesh to mark the conclusion of the celebration of” Mujib Borsho “,” the external ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.
President Kovind was visiting three days to Bangladesh from December 15-17 to attend this event.
He landed on Wednesday at Hazrat Shahjalal Dhaka International Airport and was received by President Bangladesh Mohammad Abdul Hamid.
On Wednesday, the President met Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Foreign Minister Dr.
Ak Abdul Moment and congratulated the government and people in the country for the historic opportunity for Mujib Borsho, a 50-year anniversary of Bangladesh and 50 years in India-Bangladesh bilateral relations .
He said that Bangladesh’s liberation war was an episode that inspired history recently and India was honored to be part of it.
Furthermore, President Kovind said that, 50 years ago, India and Bangladesh began special friendships placed in similarity languages, kinship, religion and cultural ethic and mutual respect, said MEA in the statement.
Bangladesh has a special place in the ‘first environment’ India policy, the President reaffirmed, added that the development partnership of New Delhi with Dhaka was one of the most comprehensive and broad.
At the same time, our relationship is mature enough to deal with the most complex problems.
