Coimbatore: After a four-day visit to Bukit Nilgiri, President of Ram Nath Kovind went to New Delhi from the Air Force Station tulur here with a special flight at around 2:30 p.m.
on Friday.
Govind, who has lived in Raj Bhavan in Ooty, is expected to reach Air Force Station with a helicopter.
But bad weather forced him to take the road to Coimbatore.
He traveled through Kotagiri, Mettupalayam, Annur and Karumathampatti to reach tendrils.
A total of 900 police personnel were deployed on stretch.

At night, he visited a photo exhibition in Nilgiris in the Botanical Garden Government (GBG).
On Wednesday, he discussed the student defense staff staff officers in Wellington in Coonor.
On Thursday, he interacted with tea farmers, organic farmers and tribal groups.
He also attended a cultural event held at Raj Bhavan MLA Kandasamy and senior officials attended to offering him separation.
