New Delhi: Indian President, RAM Nath Kovind, who is a visitor to the central universities, has agreed to the appointment of Chancellor’s Deputy in 12 Velsitas, according to the Ministry of Education (MOE) officials.
An official said that VC’s promise was approved by the President for 12 central universities, which included the Central University of Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Hyderabad.
Central University of Southern Bihar (Style), Manipur University, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (Manu), University of Hill-North (Nehu) and Ghasidas Teacher University, Bilaspur are also among the universities that have been designated by new VCS.
The University list of education minister Dharmendra Pradhan has on Thursday told Rajya Sabha that a total of 22 matches of the vice chancellor at the Central Middle University, where the appointment for 12 posts was resolved by visitors.
