Coimbatore: Crime Branch Branch (CCB) has registered a case against N Panneerselvam, 58, Pachikottai Panchayat village president in Pudukkottai, his colleague Selvakumar Agent Trichy and Loan Kumari from Chennai to deceive coimbatore-based entrepreneurs of Rs 22.5 lakh.
Panneerselvam and Selvakumar were submitted in the Ceimbatore Central Prison because they cheated the head of a private hospital in Coimbatore Rs 2.85 Crore.
The police made a formal arrest in connection with the second case on Wednesday.
K King, 48, Managing Director of Multi City Digital Consortium Pvt Ltd in Pappanacedapalayam here has filed a complaint against Panneerselvam.
The company provides cable TV connections in Coimbatore.
The king and business partner Arjunan decided to expand business and seek loans Rs 50 Crore.

The woman introduced them to Selvakumar.
Selvakumar introduced them to Panneerselvam, who promised to regulate loans and demanded Rs 22.5 lakh as processing fees.
