Hobart: Australia All-Rounder Cameron Green said he was in the “wildest dream” did not think that the host would win the fifth ash test against England on Sunday.
Green and Scott Boland each took three goals in the second round because Australia beat England with 146 running on the fifth gray test here at the Blundstone Arena.
“Maybe not in my wildest dreams, I think this can happen today.
It’s quite special and I will look back when it starts to sink, in the next few days,” Green said after a victory in a post-match presentation.
“It’s good fun out there, good to help the team out and very good to get the job done.
You have watched Ashes Cricket all your life, you are overwhelmed at first, because you can return to the end, you can be used for it,” he added .
Green also praised Australia test captain Pat Cummins and said the captain was real during Ashes.
“He’s already real, he’s so calm in the middle even when the opening will be good.
It’s always good to spend some time in the middle and hopefully continue,” Green said.
With this victory, Australia won five ashes 4-0 matches.
The Australian captain Pat Cummins also took three Wickets in the second half as the host completed the perfect Bowling performance.
