LONDON: The estimated prevalence of Covid-19 in England has not changed at a record high of 1 at 15 people in the week ended January 6, the National Statistics Office said on Wednesday, with more than 4 million people infected throughout the UK as a whole.

ONS said that the proportion of positive tests has increased in the age group of 50 years and above but adds that infection remains the lowest in those aged 70 years and over.
