Price of Gasoline Breach Rs 100 in Chennai

Chennai: The price of gasoline passes RS 100 in several places in Chennai on Friday, after oil companies affect the revision of price increases over the past week.
Last Friday, gasoline was sold above Rs 100 per liter at twelve districts in Tamil Nadu.
During the weekend, numbers more than doubled in several places including the Chennai neighboring Chengelpet district.
Among the main metropolitan cities, Mumbai violated Rs 100 signs per liter three weeks ago.
According to the Tamil Nadu Petroleum Oil Dealer Association, the retail selling price is only repaired by oil companies and prices across RS 100 in this district mainly due to the distance from the fuel loading point to the fuel station.
On Friday, motorists said prices had reached Rs 100 in several outlets within the Chennai corporate limits while in several outlets, gasoline was sold at Rs 99.80 per liter.
“Prices of gasoline and diesel are revised every day from June 2017 after the Union Government adopts dynamic price policies that eliminate policies to revise every two weeks.
The center imposes uniform customs for gasoline and diesel, but the VAT is enforced by the state and differences in the commission charged by the Commission Oil companies and transportation costs add fuel prices.
Prices will always be higher on bunks located far from their charging terminal, when compared to prices in the bunks located near, “said President of the Association of Dealer Petroleum Tamil Nadu K.
