LONDON: As soon as the New York judge gave a green light to the civil suit by Virginia Giuffre, who accused that the British Prince, Andrew sexually misused him when he was 17 years old, the Queen stripped Duke of York from his military rank and Royal Premonage.
Duke of York will defend the case of sex attacks as private citizens.
Prince British Andrew, son of Ratu Elizabeth II, was stripped of his military rank and royal protection after facing allegations of sex attacks, according to Buckingham Palace’s press service.
“With the approval and agreement of the Queen, the Duke of Military Bakeiation and the Royal Patronages have been returned to the Queen,” the Kingdom family said in a statement on Thursday.
“Duke of York will continue to do any public tasks and defend this case as a private citizen,” the statement added.
It happened after Virginia Human Rights activist Giuffe filed a lawsuit in the Federal Court in Manhattan and accused Prince Andrew estimates that when he was 17 years old.
However, Prince Andrew has denied the allegations, reporting CNN.
The New York judge on Wednesday ruled against the movement by the Law Team Andrew to stop the civil lawsuit which was brought against it by Virginia Giuffre.
He alleged that he was traded by investors who were humiliated by Jeffrey Epstein and were forced to take sex with a prince at the age of 17 years.
Andrew vigorously denied the claim, Ameria’s publication said.
The prospect of public trials that will attract global attention can place Andrew – third child (and reported as favorite son) from Queen Elizabeth II – in an unprecedented situation for a senior Royal British.
Previously in November 2019, Prince Andrew England announced that he stopped from the kingdom after controversy over the relationship “which was badly assessed” with Jeffrey Epstein’s sex actors.
Furthermore, Andrew and Epstein’s photo running in the central park triggered further controversy.
After this, Andrew must stop as a trading envoy for England.
