Prince Charles urges action, not words at the UN climate summit

LONDON: Prince Charles, a lover lover for a lifetime that has fought for organic gardening and runs one of his cars with white wine and cheese, has urged world leaders to speak in the action on the upcoming United Nations climate summit.
The eldest and heir of Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles, 72, will attend events at the COP26 two weeks in Glasgow starting October 31, along with his 95-year-old mother.
But in an interview with BBC broadcasts on Monday, he said he was worried that the world leaders would “just talk”, added: “The problem is to get actions in the field.” The UN Summit will try to persuade a large growing economy to do more to cut their carbon emissions, and get a rich world to cough billions of more dollars to help poor countries adapt to climate change.
When asked whether Prime Minister Boris Johnson did quite good at climate change, Charles replied: “I might not comment.” Prince Wales expressed sympathy with climate protesters, who had blocked the road in the UK for several weeks as part of the campaign to make the house more efficient.
“I really understand frustration,” he said, when the government tried hard with the demonstrators, which had caused Gridlock to do rush hour traffic by sitting protests and by sticking to Tarmac.
“All these young people feel never happened, so of course they will be frustrated,” he added, emphasizing: “But it doesn’t help, I don’t think, to do it in a way that is alienating people.” So I truly understand frustration.
, the difficulty is how you direct the frustration in a more constructive way rather than damaging from its own actions to reduce its carbon footprint, including reducing meat and fish.
In 2008, his office revealed that he had changed the Aston Martin car he had to run in biofuel made of white wine surplus and whey from cheese manufacturing.
Other cars in the fleet have been adapted to run in biodiesel made of used cooking oil, as a way to reduce the carbon footprint.
