Principal meets to plan infrared assessment

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala State Higher Education Council held an online meeting of college schools from August 3 to 5 to discuss the distribution proposed by the free software-based learning management system in higher education institutions in the state.
The meeting will also discuss steps to conduct institutional level surveys to determine the status of IT infrastructure in each college.
The Principal of Government Assisted College and self-financing must attend the meeting, the High Education Council was informed on Friday.
Meanwhile, the College of Engineering Trivandrum (CET) has started a broad training program as part of the step to adopt an open software-based learning management system for academic transactions on campus.
Deputy Chairperson of the Higher Education Board of Rajan Gurukkal on Thursday inaugurated an online training session where 315 teachers participated.
Moodle, the learning management software platform developed by the community and open source adopted by the state government to introduce teaching and learning-based learning learning in higher education institutions will help improve and increase the effectiveness of the learning-teaching process, the word nurukkal said.
This training is part of the campaign ‘Ayo Go Digital’ in the Department of Higher Education.
The Higher Education Board organizes training sessions with technical support from Digital Kerala University.
