Nagpur: The Central Prison Authority is now in trouble with anti-crime drives and preventive measures strongly encourage the number of inmates in barracks that have crossed the upper limit of more than 500.

The Nagpur Center Prison, has a capacity of around 1, 840 inmates, currently accommodates around 2,350, triggering another fear of the Covid outbreak.
The high power committee, which was institutionalized by the High Court, previously issued instructions for releasing a prisoner based on certain criteria for gathering prisons.
Apart from the release of more than 10,000 prisoners in special Covid norms, there is a repetitive virus outbreak in prison in Maharashtra.
The power to release detainees was delegated to prison supervisor by Kuningan on prison authorities.
Apart from the release of several inmates by the Nagpur Central Jail Inspector Anup Kumre, the plan to eliminate the imprisonment so far flat.

The last few months have witnessed a repeat fight in prison.
Following the threat to gangster life and their competition, the Nagpur Center Prison Authority transferred many prisoners to other prisons in Maharashtra as a measure of security.
According to sources, prison is filled with prisoners because the number of those who step on the guarantee has decreased.
“Previously, there used to be a release of about 30-35 inmates every day on a guarantee.
Now, the amount of guarantee release falls to less than five,” said the source.
“There are times of entry into a steady prisoner when the police department has drives to capture criminals and put them behind bars to examine the crime rate,” the official said.
