Jaipur: After a gap of 18 months, prisoners nested in various prisons in the state will be able to meet their relatives.
Prison authorities on Saturday said that depending on the Covid case, more limitations would be lifted or worn in the near future.
During Covid-19 times, the meeting was set virtually for video calls and it was also not an ordinary matter.
“With some conditions, we have allowed relatives of prisoners to meet them in various centers, districts and sub-prisons,” said Bhupendra Dak, director of Jail.
As a pre-regulation, Unduls will be able to meet their family members once in five days while inmates will be able to meet their family members once a month.
“Also, the visit of the visit will ensure that they have completed a vaccine dose while submitting a meeting with inmates who nest in prison,” added DAK.
The prison authority has also added that if asked relatives of visits must show their certificate, authentication that they are done with two doses of vaccines.
“Also the time of the meeting will not exceed 15 minutes and only one relative will be able to meet.
We have also requested that relatives who come to the arena of prison meetings must wear a mask so that prisoners meet.
Also, after the departure of a relative, the area will be disanited, “Dak added.
For central prisons six days a week except Monday will be given for temporary meetings in the district and sub-prison days that are repaired for meetings including Sunday, Tuesday and Saturday.
At the same time, prison inmates whose relatives are still reluctant to visit them will directly be allowed to interact with them through video calls.
