Thiruvananthapuram: District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) here on Wednesday issued guidelines for private hospitals and cooperative hospitals in connection with the increasing Covid case in the district.
According to the guideline, all private hospitals and cooperative cigarettes have been directed to allocate 50% of beds to covid patients.
It can include beds with oxygen and ventilator facilities in the intensive care unit of a private hospital.
All Covid maintenance centers have been directed to communicate with program management and district support units and telephone numbers must be provided to stay connected for 24 hours.
The hospital must update the data on the ICU, bed ventilator, basic facilities, the number of covid patients who come to hospital, discharge details, patients are referred to every four hours on the Portal Covid Hagratha.
The hospital failed to update this data will face actions under the 2005 disaster management law adequate for patients.
The observation near Covid patients must be done before entering.
Those who asymptomatic must be referred to house isolation.
Treatment must be carried out in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Department of Health and family welfare.
