Nagpur: Thanks to special training under the Pan-India program, 14 maternity houses have successfully carried out 3,138 safe delivery in the last three months in the city.
This training was delivered to medical officers and nursing staff with the aim of reducing maternal mortality.
They are also taught how to deal with emergencies, pregnancy care and protocols taught twice a week.
The Indian Midwifery and Gynecological Community Federation (Fogsi) works with the Maharashtra government implementing Manyata (National Program) and Laqshya (state level) to 14 maternity facilities in Nagpur.
This facility is among 34 where health workers have been trained and are undergoing training and assessment.
Dr.
Chaitanya Shembekar, whose hospital is a center for improving skills (CSE) for mind turning out in Nagpur, said this mission was launched about three months ago here.
“We have recruited 16 centers throughout Vidarbha.
This includes those from remote places such as Hemalkasa and Chandrapur.
We will recruit more center,” he said.
Dr Shembekar said in a pregnant house where a big bridge, women who work often were not treated well when they were in pain.
“Nurse staff and doctors explain the importance of patient welfare,” he said.
Manny’s certification was only for midwifery, Dr.
Shembekekar added.
Some hospitals in Nagpur have been certified by Manyata are the Sangh Rent Matru, expensive pregnant houses, Harsha Hospital, Shrikhande Hospital, and Deshmukh Hospital, among others.
The State Public Health Department and FogSi joined the hand in 2019 to launch the Laqshya-Manyuta initiative.
It was launched to allow and build the capacity of private maternity providers in providing quality and new quality care.
LAQshya-manata adopted an innovative approach to meeting a variety of private maternity facilities.
Using digital case-based skills and learning exercises, the program trains personal maternity facilities on important patient care components, safety, and increasing facilities.
The training module is based on a set of 26 quality standards.
By overcoming quality care in the private sector, this program complements other public sector efforts to build a holistic health system so that no mother dies during childbirth.
Dr Shembekar said, “Fogsi and GOM have launched this initiative to present standardization in private pregnant hospitals and raise the bar for quality maternal care in the state.” Dr.
Alka Mukherjee, whose hospital has received Manyata certification, said, “training, assessment and certification change the way we offer care and services at our facilities.
Staff and doctors really need to fight hard to comply with quality standards under the curriculum.”
