New Delhi: Private schools in the national capital can collect costs every month with a 15 percent reduction in a substitute for facilities that cannot be used by students during the locking period, the Delhi government announced on Thursday.
The government also said that school management would not prevent children from participating in ongoing activities or attacking their names if parents cannot pay for the current difficulty.
“To clean confusion and provide assistance that is very much needed for parents, the Delhi government has issued orders to private schools to impose monthly fees under the approved head only but with a 15 percent reduction in academic costs for the 2020-21 academic year,” said Government in a statement.

The Directorate of Education (DoE) noted that the order to cut costs by 15 percent, as directed by the Delhi High Court, has been carried out to prevent registration and commercialization at the time of Covid-19.
“The order by the Delhi government applies to all 460 schools that have submitted a high court petition.
The cost reduction will be a pause for all students and parents during the Covid-19 period,” he said.
When a national locking was announced last year to remember the Covid-19 outbreak, the Delhi Government has directed the school that there is no fee, except for tuition fees, will be charged from parents during the locking period.
Tuition fees must be collected every month as opposed to the number of lumps such as quarterly or annually.
The order also states that annual costs and development can be charged from old people in a well only every month after the locking ends.
