Lucknow: To complete and launch the party’s mission, National Secretary General of Congress Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is expected to reach Lucknow this weekend.
In all probabilities, July 14 is the date of his arrival for a three-four day tour.
The source said that Priyanka has scheduled meetings with party functionaries, frontal organizations and senior leaders besides improving time with the Manifesto committee.
He will also meet with the district and city president.
The discussion of probable candidates in a possessed chair tends to occur, said the source of the party.
Congress leaders also tend to fulfill various kinds of delegates such as unemployed youth, farmer organizations and teachers.
They also said that the visit would be followed up by tours in other districts to refresh party cadres and prepare organizations for the Battle of the BJP-pitched election.
Priyanka also held a virtual meeting with senior leaders on Monday to register a problem that disturbed people.
The head of the Ajay Kumar Lallu Congress Unit, Senior Party leader Salman Khursid, Rajiv Shukla, Pramod Tiwari and Rashid Alvi, among others, participated in the meeting.
