Agra: Senior Congress leader Salman Khurshid said that Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is likely to be the main minister to face the party in 2022 selection of assemblies and Congress will not enter the Alliance with other political parties.
Interestingly, Khurshid’s claims to the media seemed to be contrary to the General Secretary of Congress Priyanka Gandhi Vadra that his party was open to establishing an alliance with other political polls.
While interacting with media people in the city on Sunday, Khurshid said, “We have our calculations and there is no point in forging any alliance, if we don’t get the chair we ask from our alliance partners.
We are preparing Manifesto for polls 2022 assembly After visiting every corner of Uttar Pradesh and there is a clear indication that the alliance will not help us.
“When asked about CM’s face by the Congress Party, Khurshid, said that the party’s face was Gandhi Priyanka.
However, he again said, “Priyanka has not officially announced this, so even we cannot do it but the party will fight their election under his leadership”.
Khurshid said, “We visited the city to prepare our manifesto about the direction of Priyanka Ji and did not need to label this”.
After interacting with people in Tora Village, Khurshid said the problem of people like retirement widows would be added to Manifesto.
He was accompanied by a National Spokesman Supriya Shinpin.
In July this year, Priyanka Gandhi told reporters in Lucknow: “I did not rule out (Alliance) open.
