Lucknow: National Secretary General of Congress Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Saturday began the party poll campaign with ‘During Vachan’ (seven promises) including the neglect of agricultural loans, 20 lakh jobs, cutting electricity bills to half and financial families.
Launching Pratigya Yatra from Barabanki, Priyanka reaffirms the claims of the ‘Hum Vachan Nibhayenge’ party (we will fulfill our promises) and announce seven appointments other than 40% of tickets to female candidates in the selection of assembly and free smartphones for girls.
“We have announced a quota for women in the distribution of tickets.
We have also promised e-scooters and smartphones to the 12th grade of Girls.
Now, we also promise the neglect of agricultural loans, wheat procurement and rice with Rs 2,500 per quintal and sugar cane at Rs 400 per Quintal.
We will expand financial assistance of Rs 25,000 per year for a surprised family, cutting electricity bills into half and releasing a pandemic period electricity bill.
We will also make 20 lakh jobs for youth, “he said.
Yatra will cover more than 12,000 kilometers along and the extent of the country on three routes.
This campaign will also include activities such as streetplay and stop night in the city and village.
This route was inaugurated by Priyanka on Saturday was the Bundelkhand route that would lead to Jhansi after including Lucknow, Unnao, Fatehpur, Chitrakoot, Banda, Hamirpur and Jalaun.

The campaign on the Varanasi-Avadh route will start from Varanasi and end up at Rae Bareli.
Former MP Pramod Tiwari will lead Yatra on this route.
The campaign on the Pashchim route will begin with Saharanpur and end in Mathura.
