Datia: Secretary General of the Congress Responsible for Uttar Pradesh, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, arrived at Datia in Madhya Pradesh on Friday, where he offered prayers at Shri Peetambara Peeth, a party leader said.
Shri Peetambara Peeth is a Hindu temple complex and the famous ‘Shakti Peeth’ in this country.
“Priyanka Gandhi Vadra arrived here on a special plane to offer prayers at the famous temple,” MLA Congress from the Sevdha constituency in MP, said Ghanshyam Singh told PTI.
Complete security settings are enforced considering their visits and worshipers are prohibited from entering the place.
Congress leaders tend to leave for Lucknow from Datasia in the future, said party sources.
The selection of legislators in Uttar Pradesh will be held early next year.
