Gorakhpur: GM Railway North, Vinay Kumar Tripathi on Tuesday congratulations to Ner Athlete Priyanka Goswami for representing the Indian team at the Tokyo Olympics.
He praised him for his appearance and said he would definitely bring a medal for the country in the future.
“Priyanka is a promising sportsman and he performed well at the Tokyo Olympics.
I hope he is a bright future and believes that with his talents and abilities, he will definitely bring a medal to the country and glory for NER in a near Furure,” said GM Ner.
Priyanka pocketed 17th place among 60 sportsmen who participated in the Tokyo Olympics and according to him, bad weather conditions affected his appearance.
Next year in 2022, Priyanka will represent India in various international competitions including the Asian Games in China, Commonwealth games in Birmingham and the World Championship in the United States.
Priyanka thanked GM Vinay Kumar Tripathi for high-quality facilities and training provided by the NER Sports Association.
He also thanked his coach Vinod Pokhriyal, Ner and Indian train athletes and cross-country coaches.
NER Sports Association President / Chief Workshop Manager / Mechanical Workshop, Yogesh Mohan, CPRO Pankaj Kumar Singh and coach Chandra Vijay Singh also attended the occasion.
