MYSURU: The Karnataka government on Thursday ordered a probe to the building of an indoor swimming pool and personal fitness center in Jala Sannidhi, the official home of Mysuru deputy commissioner Rohini Sindhuri, supposedly in breach of legacy laws.
Revenue secretary Manjunath Prasad has requested Mysuru regional commissioner GC Prakash to make a report from June 7.
The research was ordered after complaints from previous minister and JD(S) MLA SR Mahesh and Mysuru BJP MP Pratap Simha the DC’s house is a legacy property and principles might have been broken in the building of the swimming.
They also accused Rohini of misusing government funding for its building, amid the pandemic and also continuing fund collapse.
