Aurangabad: Hotel owners in Aurangabad at Maharashtra on Monday demanded a relaxed time to operate in the middle of the Covid-19 outbreak and threatened to protest by submitting the key to establishment to the authorities if they were not fulfilled.
The outbreak has hit a business for 18 months now and local administration allows operation only until 4pm unlike Pune where the hotel can operate until 10pm and carry out package services until 11pm, said Secretary of the Kishor Shetty Hotel ownership to PTI.
“If our demands for relaxation in timings are not fulfilled in two days, then we will submit our hotel key to the district administration as a sign of protest,” he warned.
The association, before, demanded the cost of a license bar that claimed this outlet closed all through a pandemic.
