Problems related to North Karnataka are relegated to the back seat in the Beleageas Session

Beleagavi: The ongoing conflict between the MES and Pro-Kannada organizations, and protests against the Minister of Urban Development Byrathi Basavaraj took the center stage in both houses on Monday, further delaying the debate about the problems related to North Karnataka.
When the session was continued at the council, opposition members demanded the resignation of the Minister of Basavaraj, accused in the case of land waves.
In assembly, congressional legislators demanded a debate about the ongoing clashes between the MES and Pro-Kannada organizations.
They asked the speaker to allow debate at the cost of kickback 40% by the Karnataka State Contractor Association.
Protests damaged the first part of the session, and the question and answer hours were also disturbed by loud and sloganeering.
For six consecutive days, not a single topic related to North Karnataka has been mentioned, people disappoint the area that hopes for solutions to various problems.
The officers wanted legislators to improve problems including the Kalasa-Bunduri project, Krishna on the project (phase 3), desilting of the Almatti Dam, and office relocation to Suvarna Vidhana Soudha.
The day before the commencement of the winter session, farmers had provided a list of 21 important problems to be discussed while many irrigation projects stopped.

Violating the Green Signal of the Supreme Court to issue a notification of sheets for Kalasa-Bunduri, the work has not started.
According to Ashok Chandaragi, a political activist from the Bethobaavan, the reluctance of the union government to provide environmental permits is the main cause of delays.
Mahadaay’s problem must be widely debated in both houses, but disappointing to see selected representatives involved in issues that are not relevant to the region.
Janna Gowda, a farmer leader from Bagalkot, said increasing the height of the Almatti dam from 519.6 meters to 524 meters below the top Krishna (phase 3) is an important project because additional 100TMC water can be saved for irrigation.
Srikantegowda, JD (S) MLC during the session urged the chairman at the council to discuss the issue of NK.
Ignoring the problem of this region insulting the people here.
The house must take a discussion about priority, he said.
