Problems with Locomotive Equipment: Train After checking Bikaner-Guwahati train accident site

JALPAIGURI / GUWAHATI: Minister of Railway Railway Vaishnaw on Friday examines the Bikaner-Guwahati Express train accident site in the district of Jalpaiguri West Bengal and said that there are some problems with locomotive equipment.
Nine people were killed and 36 were injured after 12 trainers train Bikaner-Guwahati Express slipped, and some of them were raised near Domohani in Jalpaiguri district on Thursday.

Previously on that day, Vaishnaw arrived at the Domohani Railway Station at 9.38 in the morning and proceeded to the vocalion site within two minutes of the motorbike trolley, the Head of Pedestrian NFR Guneet Kur said in Guwahati.
“The minister conducted a trolley inspection to ensure the conditions of the track and equipment.
At the accident site, he made a comprehensive inspection of cupping from the locomotive and his braking system,” he said.
He said that the dead had increased to nine, with three of the deceased not yet identified.
The injured amount is currently standing at 36.
While 23 passengers are undergoing treatment at the Super Special Hospital in Jalpaiguri, six treated in North Bengal College and seven at the Maynaguri rural hospital, said CPRO.
The accident took place at 5 pm on Thursday near Domohani in the Alipurduar division from the northeastern border, he said.
“The investigation committee has been formed to find out what caused a velection,” said Kaur PTI.
NFR General Manager Anshul Gupta reached a place at 12.08am on Friday, and overseeing the work of the restoration track for the normalization of the train movement.
He visited various hospitals on Thursday night and early on Friday to check the condition of injured patients, said Kaur.
CPRO said that the special train had left the accident location at 9:50 p.m.
with 290 passengers stranded for Guwahati.
Special trains have reached Guwahati Train Station at around 8:30 a.m.
on Friday, Special DGP Assam (law and order) GP Singh said in a Twitter post.
There were 1,053 passengers on the train during dance, NFR’s statement said on Thursday.
