CHENNAI: Most members of this LGBTQIA+ community confront harassment and discrimination in their own households.
That is the reason why the pandemic and succeeding lockdowns have had a enormous effect on these.
Cut from their support programs, most battle with mental health difficulties.
Consequently, this Pride Month, businesses and activists working together with the neighborhood have opted to offer mental health interventions for individuals in need.
“Because of the lockdown, many community members are made to remain with families who don’t support them.
