Procurement of Online Answers from Department: Speaker Assembly

Patna: The Vijay Kumar Sinha State Assembly speaker has asked the DPR Secretariat official to get an online answer from the Government Department for all questions placed by MLAS to be taken during a five-day Monsun session starting on July 26.
Incidentally during this year’s budget session, the speaker has expressed a serious concern for the answers to all questions entered by home members for replies from the ministers of each department.
The speaker held a meeting of the home secretariat on Monday and asked officials to contact Nodal officers from various departments for submission of time for questions.
Secretary was responsible for the assembly period of the Bhudeo Rai Secretariat also present.
Sinha said the government department as part of the executive must respect parliamentary rights from home members, when they ask questions about the problems of public interest.
