Professor of Muzaffarpur, J & K is still stuck in Kabul

Patna: Syed Abid Hussain (50) Muzaffarpur (50), an assistant professor of business management at the University of Bakhtar in Kabul, the Capital of the Taliban-controlled Afghanistan, is among Indians who are still trapped in disturbed countries.
Three Hussain colleagues from J & K, including Mohammad Aasif Shah and Fair Rasool, also stranded on the University campus in Kabul.
The younger brother Abid Majid Hussain, former Deputy Mayor of Muzaffarpur, said his brother, although stuck on the University campus, was truly safe.
“We hope that the Indian government will save all citizens stranded in Afghanistan, including my brother.
The Ministry of Union authorities of external affairs communicate with Abid and others on Wednesday night and ask them to remain ready to leave the country with just two luggage, “He said.
Majid said he did not have knowledge if the team in Kabul or the MEA authorities was related to the Taliban for a safe trip from India trapped.
“Abid and others live in their residence on the university campus.
Chaos functions and they get food.
University authorities are in contact with them,” he said.
The former mayor said his brother had returned home for several days and returned to Kabul on July 25.
“The situation suddenly deteriorated in Kabul on August 15.
The university was closed now,” he added.
“Abid should return to India by commercial flights on Wednesday.
However, all commercial flights have been based on Afghanistan now,” he said.
Majid said Abid had a wife, a daughter who studied in class II and a son who was an intermediary student.
“We all live together in Chandwara,” he said, adding Majid has joined the University of Bakhtar almost a half years ago.
Toi traced the Twitter handle Abid and found that he had tweet at 9.42 in the afternoon on August 15, looking for rescue after the Taliban entered Kabul.
Abid Tweeted, “We are four Indians teaching at one university in Afghanistan and jammed.
We have tried several times to coordinate with embassy people, but it didn’t work.
Please save us.”
