Thiruvananthapuram: Head of the Kottayam-based Department of Science and Technology based in Kottayam has decided to approach the court, after he was expelled from the posts following the accusation of Casteist abuse by a female researcher.
Professor Nandakumar Kalabarickal on Monday said this case was thrown by a court that gave him clean and therefore, he would approach the court again.

Deepa Mohan Research Bachelor included in the scheduled caste community, has complained that he faced caste-based abuse of Kalarickal, and had protested at the University for almost two weeks.
The university, in a statement last week, said that the representative of Sabu Thomas Chancellor had removed the Kalarickal from the post and took the allegations because he was also a nanoscientist.
However, Mohan alleged that the act of the professor was “only eyewash” and his request to dismiss him from the university had not been fulfilled.
Opposition Leader V.Sesan also raised this problem in the Assembly on Monday lamenting that Deepa has faced many obstacles in pursuit of higher studies.
“He has faced a lot of trouble and at a point of time even must approach the court to get his recognition to the laboratory.
He has undergone many human rights violations and now spends six years of all these battles and the government must intervene to help him,” SatheMedan said.
