‘Project Smiling Faces’ educates in need

Nagpur: To take education to underprivilled, the Rotary Club of Nagpur Vision (RCNV) starts ‘Project Smiling Faces’ in 2005.
Children’s lakh has been awarded scholarships and every year new batch added to this list.
At the High School Methodist, Mecosabagh, on Tuesday, RCNV, and almost the Principal (SHMCA) together distributed scholarships to examine 17 intelligent students who excel in academics but had reached obstacles due to financial constraints.
RCNV and Shmca ensure that no students compromise their dreams to achieve a bigger and better life.
Since June 2021, RCNV and SHMCA have provided scholarships to 60 students.
“Education and work are two important factors for the progress and development of the world.
In India too, there are many underdeveloped students in education because of lack of funds.
This is why RCNV reaches them and supports their education with all my heart.
We encourage girls to Learning and achieving their goals.
Despite supporting students financially, we also carry out skills development programs for students who are different and backup economically to help them fulfill their aspirations, “said RCNV President Vikram Naidu.
In his speech, President of SHMCA Zafar Ahmed Khan said, “This scholarship for those who are truly motivated to learn more.
This gives us a huge excitement to see students who are given funds well in education.
Even a small number can save the academic year a child who wants to learn.
“President of RCNV, President Rajiv Behal said,” My only goal is to see the children we have helped back after 10 years and provide scholarships to other children who are financially weak and to continue the good cycle .
This gives me happiness to see children we give scholarships well in life.
“Children are seen with tears with joy and ambition.
Some said they aimed to become a doctor, while some saw themselves as an IAS officer in the future.
All RCNV members and Shmca congratulate the award-winning and motivate them to their future.
This ceremony was held by Dilip Bose, Secretary of Shmca.
