Thiruvananthapuram: Allowed without other choices to avoid a high court order that directs the state government to follow the norms of Aicte strictly for the Proporal Principles in Government Engineering Higher Education, the Ministry of Higher Education has reversed the promotion of 18 principals of the technical school with a retrospective effect of 2009.
Through orders on November 11, 2021, the Department of Higher Education was also promoted by the retrospective effects of 43 faculty of engineering as principals of engineering.
However, almost all faculties who have given their promotion have retired from the service.
But they will be eligible to claim benefits force with retrospective effects.
Those who have been derived from this service include Kerala Technological University Vice-Chancellor Dr.
R Rajastree and Dr.
Byubai T P, is responsible for the director of technical education.
Under pressure from the left teacher union, the state government has made Atte’s norms in promotion.
Instead of competitive norms Aicte, the left union is used for bats for seniority-based promotions.
Although the selection of candidates who qualified through the selection process, including interviews, is what Aicte recommendations for promotion to the main post, the left union has never allowed the government to follow the norms.
When the UDF government adopted the norms of Aicte and conducted a selection process, the lead union leaders boycotted the same thing.
Furthermore, when the LDF government returned to power in 2016, they were promoted through the process of being reduced and the promotion of wise seniority was brought back.
However, the High Court attacked the wise promotion of seniority in 2019.
When the Supreme Court refused to cancel the HC command, the government was left without other choices besides applying regularity in letters and spirits.
After a promotion and a retrospective decline, some principals engineering must pay back the excess salary they have received.
