PATNA: A 45-year real estate agent was shot dead by unidentified criminals when he went for a morning walk in the countryside Fatuha in Patna on Monday.
Police said criminals shoot property dealers, Shiv Yadav, near the high school Fatuha around 6am.
They fled on a motorcycle after pumping three bullets into Yadav’s body.
Wounded villagers Nohta Mirzapur, was rushed to a referral hospital where he was declared brought Fatuha dead.
Fatuha police sub-division Manjhi and SHO Rajesh Kumar Manoj Kumar rushed to the spot and inquired about the incident.
Agitated over the killing, locals blocked the road near the roundabout Fatuha and disrupted vehicular traffic.
They demanded immediate arrest of the perpetrators and compensation to the families of the victims.

relatives of the victims told police that Yadav was involved in real estate business for quite some time in the area.
“We are investigating the case from all possible angles, including personal enmity,” said SHO of this newspaper.
Meanwhile, an elderly couple was identified as Suresh Singh (75) and his wife Jagtarni Devi (70) were found murdered in their home in Rampur under Suryagarha police station area in Lakhisarai district Monday.
The couple was alone in the house.
SHO of the police station Suryagarha Chandan Kumar said the incident came to light when a maid arrived at the couple’s home in the morning.
He found the couple lying in a pool of blood.
“It looks like they were killed late at night.
The reason behind the twin murders have not been determined, “said SHO, adding forensic team visited the spot and collected blood samples to be sent to a forensic laboratory for tests.
Locals said Suresh Singh is a retired school teacher and lives with his wife alone.
