Lucknow: After Allahabad and Mugalari, there are now a proposal to rename the Jhansi train station after the local warriors of Queen Lax Mibai, the leading figure of the first war in India independence in 1857.

“Local MP recommends a change in the name of the train station.

Jhansi MP Anurag Sharma told Toi that the proposal to rename the train station was debated about two years ago during a zonal train meeting, added “the proposal was made before the representative of the Bundelkhand.” “The decision was mentioned in the minutes of the meeting and has now gone to the state government for his view,” Sharma added.
