Prosenjit Chatterjee who’d worked together with Rituparno Ghosh in movies such as’Dosar’ along with’Chokher Bali’ admits his foray to content-driven Bengali film was inspired by his own friend, guide and philosopher, the overdue Rituparno Ghosh.
The Tolly celebrity, whose introduction at arthouse film came using’Chokher Bali’ from the late auteur in 2003, also claims it had been Rituparno who’d tapped the’additional Prosenjit’ lying deep within and researched it.
“I did many industrial movies nevertheless Ritu (Rituparno Ghosh) found another celebrity lying within me, a performer who will depict characters leaving behind regular dance, singing along with fighting scenes that helped me capture stardom,” Chatterjee, whose profession spreads over three years said.
