Noida: Police Noida on Tuesday said that he had arrested 28 people, including 12 women, because of alleged prostitution after an attack at home in the city.
Deputy Police Commissioner Additional Police Ranvijay Singh said the police had received a tip-off of illegal meat trade and racket operated from home in sector 51.
“Based on input, home, in the 49 sector of the police station, raided late last night, leads to 16 men’s arrest and 12 women from the site, “Singh said on Tuesday.
“Some incredible ingredients have also been confiscated from that place,” the officer said.
The RAID team included the assistant Commissioner Police, the local police station in charge, officials from Mahila Thana and the Human Trade Unit, he said.
A FIR is being submitted in cases and further legal proceedings will begin soon, Singh added.
