Coimbatore: Police Annur in Coimbatore Regency has recorded someone – who fired a video that showed Panthayat Ottarpalayam employees belonging to the Caste Prostration schedule in front of the Hindu caste allegations to create hostility between the two editable communities to hide the truth.
The dispute between K Goggalsamy, a farmer, and assistant Village P Muthusamy took place in Kurukalapaampalayam at Ottarpalayam on August 6.
The first video that came out the following day showed as if Gopalsamy forced the village assistant to fall, triggering a controversy.
Police Annur enrolled a case against GouperSamy based on complaints from village administration officers V Kalaiselvi under various parts of the scheduled caste and scheduled tribes (prevention of AWC ACT) and IPC.
Gopalsamy went to underground and had not been traced by the police.
But another video that appeared on August 14 showed the village assistant slapped farmers in front of Vao Kalaiselvi.
The incident was said to have lasted a few minutes before the village assistant prostrated in front of farmers.
After this, Muthusamy was ordered by the police.
Farmers have jumped into protests looking for actions against assistants and village administration officers.
District administration put them both under the suspension on August 17.
In this background, income officials from the Annur Taluk office on Friday filed a complaint with Annur police who were looking for actions against people who shot the video and released it in parts to make communal disharmony.
The police posted a case below section 153a (1) (b) (carrying out any action which reduces the maintenance of harmony between various groups of religion, race, language or regional or caste or community, and which is disturbing or the possibility of disrupting public peace) from the IPC without giving anyone’s name.
The Tamizhaga Vivasayigal Sangam, who protested a few days ago, closed the shops in Annur Taluk urging the police to arrest village administration officers and immediately assistant, wrote to the minister of chairman who was looking for intervention on Saturday.
They said that both of them had provided false information in the investigation ordered by the G s district collector as soon as after the first video appeared.
