Jaipur: Lawyers performed the parade of peace from the High Court to the Assembly on Friday afternoon demanding part of the Advocate Protection Bill and the Board of Bar propose amendments to welfare funds.
But the rally was stopped by the police in Ambedkar Circle.
The delegation from the High Court Bar Association then met the BD Kalla minister and handed the memorandum.
The minister assured delegates carrying bills in the current or subsequent assembly session.
Secretary General of the Association, Giriraj Prasad Sharma, said advocate had demanded the safety and welfare of lawyers for years.
