New Delhi: The leaders of Shiroman Akali Dal (Sad) were detained by Delhi police on Friday for taking March protests to mark a one-year completion of the enactment of three central agriculture laws.
They were taken to the Sansad Marg Police Station.
“The Modi government and Haryana stop our workers.

We came here to give a message to PM Modi that not only Punjab but the whole country was contrary to the government,” said Sukhbir Singh Badal, Head of Shiromani Akali Dal.
“A number of farmers have died and many are still sitting on the border of Delhi but the government (center) is indifferent.
We will continue our fight until the three agricultural laws are revoked,” said Harsymrat Kaur Badal, a sad leader and former unity.
