Protest over NEP: Police resort for lathi-charge

Bengaluru: The police used Lathi’s allegations mild after students protested the National Education Policy (NEP) tried to solve the barricade in the MySore Bank circle and marched towards Vidhana Soudha on Tuesday.
About 300 students from the Indian Front Campus gathered in the MySore Bank circle on Tuesday afternoon and condemned the central government to the policy.
“Nep broke unity in diversity” and “we will never let education for sale, we will never let the NEP” their placard read.
However, the protesters, who were standing on the left side of the road in groups of two and three of them, suddenly marched into the middle of the road and blocked the traffic to the traffic.

Many of them sit in the middle of the road, causing traffic congestion.
Police forced to spread them and shift to vans and police buses before driving.
Attaulla Khan, the leader of the country from Front Campus India, said the police did not need to be used.
“We want to march towards Vidhana Soudha and the police reject our request.
Some protesters sit on the road, demanding that we have to be allowed to walk to Vidhana Soudha,” he said.
On the other hand, senior police confirmed their actions.
“They haven’t taken any permission.
The problem starts when some of them sit in the middle of the road, causing traffic congestion.
Next, they pushed the barricade in an effort to walk towards Vidhana Soudha and attack the police who tried to stop them.
