New Delhi: Farmers who protested three Agri Center laws will observe independence day as ‘Kisan Mazdoor Azadi Sangram Diwas’ and will bring down the Tiranga Marches throughout the country, Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) announced on Wednesday.
In a statement, SKM, which is the amalgam of 40 farmers’ unions, said “farmers and workers will take the Tiranga Marches to block, tehsil, district headquarters or nearby Morcha or Dharna” on August 15.
“This marches will be removed with a national flag in cycles, bicycles, carts, tractors, etc.,” he said.
SKM here also reaffirms their decision that there is no “official flag lifting function” or “march with a national flag” will be opposed by farmers until August 15.
However, the decision to boycott BJP leaders and allies will continue for all other politics.
and government activities, note.
During the ongoing ” Sansad ‘, who completed the 10th day on Wednesday, the farmers here passed the resolution of the three “black law” and for the proposed bill for air pollution and electrical amendment bills.
The artificial parliament also witnessed farmers to propose “bills” which provided legal guarantees at the minimum support price (MSP) for agricultural products.
Various speakers during the discussion highlighted the existing system failure to offer remunerative prices or even cost prices to farmers, he added.
Gathering Sansad is being organized by farmers who have protested three controversial agricultural laws in the center in several Delhi borders since November last year.
More than 10 rounds of talks with the government that has projected laws as the main agricultural reform has failed to break the deadlock between the two parties.
As part of this Sansad Kisan session, 200 farmers from protest sites participated in the Mock Parliamentary session at Mantar Mantar where problems regarding the agricultural community were discussed.
