New Delhi: Farmers who protested three Agri Center laws will observe independence day as ‘Kisan Mazdoor Azadi Sangram Diwas’ and will bring down the Tiranga Marches throughout the country, Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) announced on Wednesday.
In a statement, SKM, which is the amalgam of 40 farmers’ unions, said “farmers and workers will take the Tiranga Marches to block, tehsil, district headquarters or nearby Morcha or Dharna” on August 15.
“This marches will be removed with a national flag in cycles, bicycles, carts, tractors, etc.,” he said.
SKM here also reaffirms their decision that there is no “official flag lifting function” or “march with a national flag” will be opposed by farmers until August 15.
However, the decision to boycott BJP leaders and allies will continue for all other politics.
