Chandigarh: Fudged farmers and their supporters allegedly attacked the Mayor of Chandigarh Ravikant Sharma and former BJP President Chandigarh Sanjay Tandon on Saturday afternoon.
The incident occurred at the time of the two leaders of the BJP together with their supporters again after attending a program organized by the Sector Market Association 48.
The agitators damaged the official vehicle of the city mayor, Sanjay Tandon’s private vehicle along with vehicles.
Some other local BJP leaders with stones, sticks etc.
In addition, the Mayor City vehicle Ravikant Sharma was stopped there only by the agitators and the police had to fight hard to release their vehicles from protesters.
The front and back window panel of the Mayor and Tandon vehicle was completely destroyed, although no one was seriously injured in the incident.

Then, senior police officers, including SSP Chandigarh Kuldeep Singh Chahal also reached on the spot.
The police detailed more than two dozen protesters and took him to the police station to submit a report.
