The lyric writer and film Javed Akhtar face a flek for a recent statement.
When talking to the news portal, he said that the Taliban was savage, their actions were despicable, but those who support RSS, VHP and Bajrang Dal were all the same.
This statement by Javed Akhtar has not dropped well with BJP youth wings and some of them landed outside his Juhu’s house to protest.
“RRS helps everyone when needed and he compares it to the Taliban.
He must apologize.
It is very annoyed that despite being a very reasonable person, Javed Akhtar has given a statement like that,” said several protesters outside the actor’s house ‘Sholay’.
Javed Akhtar also reportedly states that India is a secular state, the population is mostly secular but there are those who support organizations such as RSS and VHP and people such as Golwalkar, etc., who have the same ideology as the Nazi in the 1930s.
Javed Akhtar was also involved in legal battle with Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut.
The lyrics have slammed actress with defamation cases.
Recently the Bombay High Court was postponing hearing a defamation case and the arrest of his order on Kangana’s request who wanted to cancel the casing.
