PANAJI: The 94th anniversary of Mulia Agnelo de Souza will be commemorated at Hillock Pillar between November 11 and 20.
De Souza (1869-1927), a priest of the diocese of the diocese of Goa Diocese and Daman’s diocese, is a holy member of the Holy Pillar Community in the Canonization process On going on in Rome.
Novenas will be held between 11 and 19 November, and timings for the novena mass in Konkani are in the morning at 5:30 a.m., 6.45, 8, 9.15 and 10.30, and night at 4 and 5.15.
The mass of English will be held every day at 6:15 pm.
The masses in other languages are scheduled at 11:30 a.m.
The warning of death will be celebrated on November 20.
The main theme of the celebration is ‘to experience the presence of Christ in our family: Agung Agnelo model’.
The Archbishop of Goa and Daman Filipe Neri Ferrao will lead the mass of the khidmat at 9:30 a.m.
The mass timing today is: 5.30 in the morning, 6.45 in the morning, 8 am, 11:30 am, 4PM, 5.15 PM and 6.15 PM (English).
The Night Vigil and the traditional special mass for sick and elderly people will not be held because of the prevailing situation.
However, a special mass for sick people will be flowed on YouTube and cable TV.
Recognition and counseling services will also be available for worshipers.
